Deutsche Bank Posts €1.9 Billion Quarterly Profit Above Forecasts
Deutsche Bank reported third-quarter 2026 after-tax profit of about €1.9 billion, up from €1.82 billion a year earlier and above analysts’ €1.7 billion estimate. Pretax profit rose 8% to €2.6 billion, while revenue increased 4% to €8.3 billion, extending the bank’s streak of year-over-year revenue growth. The bank said all four businesses contributed to record nine-month pretax profit of €8.4 billion, with growth in focused business areas and record net inflows helping drive results. Credit-loss provisions rose to €501 million, but the bank described overall asset quality as strong; its 14% CET1 capital ratio was at the top of its operating range, and it said it remained on track to meet its full-year targets.
