DoorDash Projects Nationwide Reese’s-Led Halloween Trends

DoorDash's analysis of 2025 Halloween orders found Reese's remained the nation's top candy for a third consecutive year. Chocolate occupied four of the top five spots. Airheads rose from tenth to seventh. Haribo entered the top 10 for the first time, replacing Twix, and surpassed Nerds, the No. 5 candy nationally, in total orders over the past three months. Reese's was the top locally favored candy in 17 states, including Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, and Washington. Sweet Smiles led in seven Southern states, including Georgia, Louisiana, and Tennessee. Laffy Taffy led in five states, including Iowa and Wisconsin. Airheads won in Florida and Texas. SweeTarts led in four Southwest states, including Idaho and Oklahoma. Arizona and California preferred Red Vines; Twizzlers held Missouri and Wyoming. Circus Peanuts orders were up 350%, Lemonhead 200%, Bit-O-Honey 180%, and Dum-Dums 100%. CONTESTED: none found.
