Vertical Aerospace names Fabrice Brégier board chair effective September 2026

Vertical Aerospace appointed Fabrice Brégier as chair of its board effective September 21, 2026, expanding the board from eight to nine directors. Brégier brings more than three decades of experience in aerospace, defense and technology, including senior leadership roles at Airbus, Eurocopter, MBDA and Palantir Technologies France. His appointment comes as Vertical advances certification and commercialization of its all-electric Valo aircraft while developing hybrid-electric, autonomous and defense applications. Interim chair Ben Story will remain on the board as a nonexecutive director, and the appointment was proposed by Mudrick Capital Management under its director appointment rights.
