Google Executive Harrison Leaves SpaceX Board Over Alphabet Conflicts
Google executive Donald Harrison resigned from SpaceX’s board effective Nov. 4, 2026, after serving since 2015. SpaceX said his departure was not prompted by a disagreement over its operations, policies or practices; Elon Musk said Harrison stepped down because of conflicts of interest involving Alphabet, Google’s parent. Alphabet remains a major SpaceX investor, while Harrison continues to lead Google’s global partnerships and corporate development.
