Hamilton reports Q3 results, declares $206M special dividend

Hamilton Insurance Group reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $828 million, up 24% year over year, as gross premiums written rose 17% to $819.7 million and net premiums earned increased 13% to $591.3 million. Operating income was $179.9 million, or $1.78 per diluted share, while net income fell to $81.5 million from $136.2 million a year earlier. The company’s nine-month revenue rose to $2.43 billion, but net income declined to $358.8 million from $404.5 million. CEO Pina Albo attributed the quarter’s performance to growth in attractive underwriting opportunities and the company’s diversified platform amid changing market conditions. Hamilton also reported $88.4 million in quarterly investment income, reflecting strong returns from its Two Sigma Hamilton Fund that were partly offset by losses in fixed income and cash-related investments.
