HYROX Draws Thousands for Tampa Debut

Tampa is hosting its first HYROX competition at the Tampa Convention Center, a four-day event drawing athletes and spectators from across the country. Organizers expect nearly 19,000 athletes and more than 18,000 spectators, making it one of the venue’s largest recent events. HYROX pairs eight one-kilometer runs with functional fitness stations, with individual, doubles and relay races and divisions for different experience and fitness levels. First-time competitors and returning participants alike are taking part, while attendees and downtown visitors are navigating event-specific venue access rules.
