Impulse Space raises $308M in Series D extension round
Impulse Space has raised an additional $308 million in a Series D extension, bringing the round’s total to $808 million. Existing investors, including 137 Ventures, Lux Capital, Valor Equity Partners and others, participated. The in-space transportation company plans to use the funding for spacecraft development, hiring, and expanded manufacturing and facilities as demand grows for moving satellites and payloads between orbits. Impulse has more than 600 employees and has recently secured U.S. government work, including a Space Force launch program position and a $28 million contract extension supporting VICTUS SALO missions. The latest financing reportedly values the company at $5.6 billion, up from $4.26 billion at the time of its earlier Series D financing.
