Kaprizov first to 10 goals, Wild beat Jackets
Kirill Kaprizov scored a second-period power-play goal in Minnesota’s 2-1 win over Columbus, reaching 10 goals in the season’s first nine games to set a Wild franchise record and become the NHL’s first player to hit double digits this season. Danila Yurov also scored for Minnesota, while goalie Jesper Wallstedt made 13 saves as the Wild limited the Blue Jackets to 14 shots and improved to 4-0 at home. Kaprizov’s goal was the game-winner and extended his point streak to six games.
