Jackson Koivun, 21, becomes youngest US Presidents Cup pick since Spieth

Jackson Koivun, a 21-year-old PGA Tour rookie and former Auburn star, was named one of the United States’ six captain’s picks for the 2026 Presidents Cup, which will take place September 24–27 at Medinah Country Club. Team USA captain Brandt Snedeker highlighted Koivun’s potential to contribute positively to the team dynamic and pairings, following a breakout first professional season that included a victory at the 3M Open. Koivun’s rapid rise comes on the back of an extraordinary amateur résumé, including national player of the year awards and two NCAA championships with Auburn, and he becomes the youngest American to be named to the Presidents Cup since Jordan Spieth.
