Lazio’s Floriani Mussolini Scores First Serie A Goal

Romano Floriani Mussolini, Lazio’s 23-year-old defender and great-grandson of Italian dictator Benito Mussolini, scored his first Serie A goal in the club’s 6-2 win over Sassuolo. His 16th-minute strike was initially ruled offside but awarded after a video review; it was also only the second goal of his professional career. Floriani Mussolini has said he has no interest in politics.
