Lincoln Educational Faces Investor Class-Action Lawsuit

Several law firms have announced or are publicizing a securities class action on behalf of Lincoln Educational Services investors who bought shares from May 11 through August 9, 2026, with a November 10, 2026, deadline to seek lead-plaintiff status. The complaint alleges the company misled investors about student-start momentum by failing to disclose that its admissions process was converting fewer enrolled students into students who began classes. Lincoln reported that student starts rose only 1% year over year in its second-quarter results, despite enrollment growth, and its shares fell about 25% on August 10. These are allegations in pending litigation, not established findings.
