Montana Teen Dies After Saving Sister in River
A 13-year-old Montana boy, Ephraim Dayley, died in the Clarks Fork River near Fromberg after rescuing his sister during a tubing outing. His sister reached shore, but Dayley disappeared underwater and was found by search teams Thursday afternoon using specialized equipment. Authorities, assisted by divers, a drone and a helicopter, searched a section of the river estimated to be 6 to 10 feet deep. Family and friends remembered Dayley, one of nine siblings, as an “amazing hero.”
