Yearling mountain goat settles near Bozeman church entrance

A yearling male mountain goat wandered into Bozeman and settled near the entrance of Grace Bible Church, surprising staff and passersby. Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks biologist Julie Cunningham said the goat appeared healthy and may have been exploring; the sighting was unusual so deep within the city. Wildlife officials safely immobilized the animal, transported it out of town and released it in the Gallatin Range.
