Novo Nordisk Partners With Anthropic to Accelerate Drug Discovery

Novo Nordisk and Anthropic are partnering to accelerate drug discovery and development through targeted artificial-intelligence tools and workflows. Novo will initially test Anthropic’s Claude Science in selected research-and-development processes to support biological reasoning and address scientific challenges identified by its teams. The companies also plan to develop solutions for specific drug-development problems, while Novo will use Anthropic’s models to expand AI-driven software development across the organization. The collaboration includes data-governance measures and human oversight, and adds to Novo’s existing AI partnerships with companies including OpenAI and Amazon Web Services.
