Inter Miami’s Nu Stadium Selected for 2027 Women’s Champions Cup Final Round
FIFA has selected Inter Miami’s newly opened Nu Stadium in South Florida to host the final phase of the 2027 FIFA Women’s Champions Cup, including the semifinals, third-place match and final in late January. Barcelona and Mexico’s Club América have already qualified, while the remaining two teams will come through qualification involving clubs from Africa, Asia, Oceania and South America. No U.S. women’s club will compete in the final round after the Washington Spirit lost to Club América in the Concacaf tournament. FIFA said Miami was chosen for its soccer-specific 26,700-seat venue, strong community support, international accessibility and mild winter climate. The event is intended to expand elite women’s club competition globally and follows the inaugural tournament, won by Arsenal in London.
