OpenWorld signs merger deal to acquire Blocksight for tokenization plans

OpenWorld signed a definitive merger agreement to acquire Blocksight Holdings, whose AI agents are expected to automate deal structuring, asset verification, investor onboarding and reporting on OpenWorld’s tokenization platform, with human approval at key decision points. The acquisition is intended to support two proposed financing programs: up to $1 billion with Meridian for a distributed AI computing network powered by solar energy and residential batteries, and up to $130 million with BeyondAI backed by eligible intellectual property. The Meridian arrangement is based on a non-binding term sheet, with initial installations targeted for late 2026 and the first commercial site planned for early 2027; the financing programs remain subject to further agreements and conditions.
