Patrick Stewart sold Brooklyn duplex for $3.9 million before death
Patrick Stewart, the “Star Trek” and “X-Men” actor, quietly sold his Park Slope, Brooklyn, duplex in July 2025, about a year before his death. He bought the converted carriage house in 2012 for $2.5 million, and it sold for $3.9 million; the home included a private elevator, fireplace and rooftop terrace. Stewart became a familiar presence in the neighborhood, joining local gatherings and embracing Brooklyn life. Separately, musician Mason Stoops recalled that Stewart and his wife, Sunny Ozell, welcomed him, his wife and their dog into their home after they evacuated the 2025 Eaton Fire, describing their hospitality as a source of comfort and a lasting chosen-family bond.
