Pomerantz probes securities claims at Children’s Place and four other firms
Pomerantz LLP is investigating claims on behalf of investors of The Children's Place, Cellectis, Astrana Health, Jackson Financial and Flutter Entertainment concerning possible securities fraud or other unlawful business practices. On September 14, 2026, Children's Place announced Q2 fiscal 2026 net sales of $241.8 million, an 18.9% year-over-year decline that missed consensus estimates, an adjusted net loss of $0.82 per share versus an estimated $0.62 loss, and GAAP net losses expanded to $31 million. Management attributed the results to a clearance-heavy product mix and extended e-commerce migration to Salesforce. The stock fell $0.57 per share, or 23.8%, to close at $1.90 on September 15, 2026. Pomerantz also issued alerts after Foghorn Therapeutics and Lilly on Oct. 1, 2026 decided not to advance FHD-909 into clinical development expansion and halted the Selective SMARCA2 degrader program. CEO Adrian Gottshalk stated that Foghorn is reducing its workforce by approximately 40% and further aligning its operating structure resulting in cash to fund Foghorn's priority programs into the second half of 2029. Rafael Holdings said Sept. 30, 2026 its Phase 3 TransportNPC study in 94 NPC patients did not achieve statistical significance on the primary endpoint. ClearPoint Neuro partner uniQure disclosed Sept. 29, 2026 that its Huntington's disease gene therapy did not achieve statistical significance on a primary clinical measure at 48 months. The concerns are allegations under investigation, not established findings.
