Reynolds Set for Clemson's Earliest Freshman QB Start

Clemson freshman quarterback Tait Reynolds earned the starting job after Christopher Vizzina struggled and was sidelined by an elbow injury. Coach Dabo Swinney praised Reynolds’ talent, confidence and “it” factor, making him Clemson’s earliest-starting freshman quarterback in more than 50 years. Reynolds initially guided Clemson to a 22-7 win over Georgia Southern, then made his first college start in a 28-20 victory over North Carolina on Sept. 19. Swinney indicated the freshman had done enough to remain in the role.
