Boston College linebacker Bodie Kahoun was taken from the field by ambulance during the second quarter of Friday night’s game against Rutgers after appearing to hit his head and upper body while tackling running back Antwan Raymond. Medical personnel treated the redshirt sophomore for several minutes, stabilized him with a neck brace and backboard, and placed him on a stretcher as players from both teams gathered nearby. Kahoun gave a thumbs-up to the crowd as he was loaded into the ambulance, but the type and severity of his injury remained unknown. Boston College led 17-0 at the time of the incident, and Kahoun had recorded six tackles.

College football needs better rules on helmet to helmet contact to prevent these scares.
Hope the thumbs up means Kahoun avoids any long term issues from that hit.
