Broncos Reportedly Sought Brees After Nix Injury

Brees agreed to work out, but wrist discomfort convinced him that he could not make an effective comeback. The potential reunion was especially notable because Brees and Broncos coach Sean Payton worked together in New Orleans for 15 seasons, though Payton reportedly learned of the discussions only during the offseason.
