Suzuki Out 2-4 Weeks, 546-Game Streak Ends

Montreal Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki is expected to miss two to four weeks with an upper-body injury after blocking a shot in Tuesday’s overtime loss to San Jose. The injury ends his streak of 546 consecutive games, dating to his NHL debut in 2019-20, and marks the first game absence of his career. Suzuki had 12 points in nine games to start the season. Montreal recalled forward Owen Beck from its AHL affiliate, Laval, to fill a roster spot.
