Survey Finds Vietnamese Youth Favor Closer China Ties
Vietnam National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man concluded an official visit to China, where he co-chaired the second session of the bilateral legislative cooperation committee. Vietnam’s foreign minister said the visit strengthened political trust and parliamentary cooperation, building on high-level agreements and supporting closer, more stable ties between the countries. Separately, a survey of young Vietnamese people found broad interest in practical cooperation with China: respondents highlighted trade and investment, innovation and entrepreneurship, and educational exchanges, and many said youth exchanges could help foster mutual understanding.
