Tarantino Unveils 17 Minutes of Cliff Booth

Quentin Tarantino surprised AFI Fest audiences in Los Angeles by screening the first 17 minutes of The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth after a screening of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and a Q&A. Written by Tarantino and directed by David Fincher, the sequel brings Brad Pitt back as Cliff Booth and picks up in 1977, eight years after the original. In the footage, Cliff has left stunt work behind and manages the New Beverly Cinema, where he watches a fictional blaxploitation film before a visit from two men hints at the trouble to come. The film is scheduled for a two-week IMAX theatrical run beginning November 25, 2026, followed by its Netflix release on December 23.
