T-Mobile T-Mix plans let customers swap phone deals for streaming and gaming perks
T-Mobile plans to launch T-Mix in November, replacing its fixed-benefit approach for new customers with three postpaid tiers—Standard, More and Loaded—that let subscribers allocate “Picks” to perks such as streaming, music, gaming, food delivery, AI services, satellite connectivity or phone promotions. Prices start at $55, $75 and $95 per month, respectively, for one line, before taxes and fees; the number of Picks depends on the tier and number of lines. Customers can generally change their selections every three months, while existing customers can keep their current plans. Because phone promotions and subscriptions draw from the same pool, choosing new phones may leave less room for other benefits, and prices may be higher for some multi-line households. The move aims to attract customers seeking more control over subscription costs as U.S. wireless competition intensifies and T-Mobile faces slowing customer growth.
