UPS secures exclusive TikTok Shop returns deal at 10,000 locations
UPS announced on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, an exclusive deal to provide no-box, no-label returns for U.S. TikTok Shop sellers through UPS-owned Happy Returns. Shoppers can drop items at nearly 10,000 locations inside Ulta Beauty, Staples, and UPS stores, where staff scan, bag, and label goods and consolidate them into daily bulk shipments to processing hubs. The service is available whether sellers self-fulfill or use TikTok Shop logistics. Patrick Nommensen, TikTok Shop's president of strategic initiatives, said the collaboration builds on a commitment to faster, hassle-free, and more trustworthy returns for shoppers. David Sobie, co-founder and CEO of Happy Returns, said sellers gain less return fraud, faster inventory turnaround, and loyalty; Happy Returns uses AI to flag suspicious packages for human audit and possible withheld refunds. Returns average 27% of purchase price per Blue Yonder. FedEx has also invested in reverse logistics, and Amazon.com offers its own no-box, no-label option. TikTok Shop launched in the U.S. in September 2023 and includes sellers such as Ulta Beauty and PacSun.
