Villanova Ends Lehigh’s League Streak, Wins 24-18

Villanova beat No. 11 Lehigh 24-18 in a Homecoming thriller, ending the Mountain Hawks’ Patriot League winning streak and handing them a second consecutive loss. The Wildcats built a 21-0 halftime lead on three rushing touchdowns, but Lehigh dominated after the break and cut the deficit to three. Villanova added a late field goal, then held off a long Lehigh drive that reached first-and-goal at the 2-yard line: Garrett Rogan sacked quarterback Derek Morgan as time expired to seal the win. Ja’briel Mace and Isaiah Ragland combined for 135 rushing yards and two touchdowns for Villanova, while Lehigh’s Luke Yoder rushed for 132 yards and a score.
