WISeKey extends root of trust to verify AI models and agents
Across the articles, cryptography and identity are presented as building blocks for safer AI systems, from the view that crypto could support autonomous artificial life to proposals for verifying AI models, agents, and their actions. QoreChain founder Liviu Epure argues that post-quantum security and cryptographic agility should be built into blockchains from launch, since changing core signature systems later can leave dormant accounts and users exposed; the network also uses bounded, deterministic machine learning to adjust parameters. WISeKey and OISTE are extending a hardware-backed Root of Trust concept to AI, aiming to verify models’ origins and integrity and authenticate agents before they access systems. Separate discussions emphasize the risks of AI-enabled fraud and deepfakes, while Qodo’s participation in a developer meetup reflects growing industry debate over whether AI agents can be trusted to produce secure software. Together, the coverage points to a broader effort to establish verifiable identity, integrity, and accountability as AI becomes more capable and widely deployed.
