Nicki Minaj fired back at MSNBCâs Joy Reid following her response to the singerâs tweets about the COVID-19 vaccine.
âThey want you to get vaccinated for the Met. if I get vaccinated it wonât for the Met. Itâll be once I feel Iâve done enough research. Iâm working on that now. In the meantime my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with 2 strings that grips your head and face. Not that loose one,â Minaj tweeted.
She added, âMy cousin in Trinidad wonât get the vaccine cuz his friend got it and became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it and make sure youâre comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.â
Reid blasted Minaj for using her platform to spread misinformation about the vaccine, saying, âFor you to use your platform to put people in the position of dying from a disease they donât have to die from, oh my God.â
She added, âAs a fan, as a hip hop fan, as somebody who is your fan, I am so sad that you did that. So sad that you did that, sister. Oh, my God.â

Minaj responded, âThis is what happens when youâre so thirsty to down another black woman (by the request of the white man), that you didnât bother to read all my tweets. âMy God SISTER do betterâ imagine getting ur dumb ass on tv a min after a tweet to spread a false narrative about a black woman.â
She continued, âThe two white men sittin there nodding their heads cuz this uncle tomiana doing the work chile. How sad.â
Minaj also took a swipe at Meghan McCain after the former co-host of âThe Viewâ said, âThatâs entirely enough internet for today.â
She responded, âEat sh*t you.â
Fox Newsâs Tucker Carlson defended Minaj during his show Tuesday night, reading her comments out loud and saying her view of the vaccine âseems sensible.â
