AST SpaceMobile Faces Securities Class Action Lawsuit

AST SpaceMobile is facing a securities class action lawsuit alleging that the company and its executives misled investors about its capital needs, liquidity, competitive position in the satellite direct-to-cell market, and user adoption in the United States and Japan. The alleged misconduct concerns investors who purchased ASTS securities from March 4, 2025, through July 15, 2026, including disclosures tied to a planned $1 billion convertible-notes offering. Multiple law firms are notifying investors that they may seek lead-plaintiff status, with a November 13, 2026, deadline, while the allegations remain unproven. ASTS shares recently rose about 5%, recovering above their 20-day moving average, but remained below longer-term moving averages, and several momentum indicators continued to signal caution amid the litigation and broader selling pressure.
