Hamilton Leads Ferrari 1-2 in Austin Practice
Lewis Hamilton led final practice for the United States Grand Prix in Austin, giving Ferrari the fastest time in all three practice sessions. His 1:34.893 lap put him ahead of Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc, whose quickest effort was deleted for exceeding track limits. Track-limit violations were widespread, also costing Kimi Antonelli a faster time and highlighting a potential challenge for qualifying. Antonelli and George Russell finished fourth and fifth, while McLaren’s Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris were sixth and eighth; Audi’s Nico Hulkenberg split them in seventh. Ferrari and Red Bull appeared best placed to contend for pole, with qualifying still to come.
