Morrissey Practices in Regular Jersey as Jets Host Lightning
The Winnipeg Jets are aiming to extend their two-game winning streak when they host the Tampa Bay Lightning, who arrive after an overtime win over Minnesota on the second night of a back-to-back. Josh Morrissey practiced in a regular jersey for the first time since his October injury, putting him in line for a possible return, though coach Scott Arniel said he would assess how Morrissey responded to practice. Winnipeg recalled defenseman Henry Thrun amid uncertainty about having six defensemen available, while Elias Salomonsson is away from the team for personal reasons. Separately, captain Adam Lowry discussed the scramble that led to his game-winning assist in the Jets’ recent victory.
