Suspect Arrested in Atlanta ICE Firebombing Attempt
A 31-year-old Georgia man, Inique Hinton, was arrested and federally charged with attempted arson and damaging government property after authorities say he threw a Molotov cocktail at an ICE facility in downtown Atlanta. The device struck a fence and caused limited damage; the building also houses an immigration court. Investigators used surveillance footage and evidence gathered at the scene to identify Hinton, who was arrested peacefully in Cobb County. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison on the arson charge and up to 10 years for damaging government property.
