Allen's Fifth Triple-Double Leads Alabama Past Arkansas State
No. 20 Alabama defeated Arkansas State 101-86 in Tuscaloosa, powered by Amari Allen’s 16 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists, the fifth triple-double in program history. Alabama overcame a slow shooting start with dominant offensive rebounding, collecting a program-high 25 offensive boards in the Nate Oats era and scoring 31 second-chance points. Qayden Samuels led the Tide with 17 points, while Arkansas State’s Layne Taylor scored 20. Allen briefly left after appearing to injure his right ankle but returned to the bench.
