German police are investigating a fire at a Berlin electrical substation and construction site after the blaze spread to a transformer facility early Monday. Authorities are examining whether the cause was a technical malfunction or criminal activity, and the incident did not disrupt the city’s power supply. Glad supply wasn't disrupted, but the fact this keeps happening at multiple substations should worry everyone, not just officials.
Grid infrastructure being targeted repeatedly is more than coincidence at this point. Hope investigators actually get to the bottom of it this time.
