Ukraine Reports Heavy Fighting as War Toll Mounts

Ukrainian officials reported 236 combat engagements in one 24-hour period and 240 in a subsequent update covering September 3, with the heaviest fighting reported near Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka and Southern Slobozhanshchyna.
