Reports: Six killed in strikes across Kharkiv, Oryol
Moscow-backed authorities reported that a Ukrainian drone struck a car in the village of Pisky in the Russian-held Kharkiv region, killing three civilians and seriously wounding a woman, Vitaliy Ganchev said. Separately, Oryol governor Andrei Klychkov said a Ukrainian missile strike hit an enterprise in the city's Soviet district on Friday night, killing three people whose bodies were recovered from the rubble and causing a fire. He called the site a civilian target and said the strike came at rush hour as people left work. Emergency services said five others were seriously wounded and in intensive care. Oryol lies about 370 km southwest of Moscow. Sergei Aksyonov said water and power restrictions were introduced in occupied Crimea after an incident on main power grids he blamed on a drone attack. Russia's defence ministry said it shot down 616 Ukrainian drones overnight across more than 20 regions. Togliatti mayor Ilya Sukhikh said a drone barrage damaged industrial infrastructure there. None of the authorities' claims were independently verified. Klychkov's assertion that NATO-made missiles were used in Oryol was not confirmed.
