Ukraine deploys portable detector to intercept Russian drone video feeds
A Ukrainian company, CODE380, has developed the D·Vision SDR, a portable detector that can identify Russian drones and intercept their video feeds, giving troops a real-time view of what the aircraft are filming. Unlike fixed analog receivers, it uses software-defined radio to scan a broad frequency range and can be updated as Russian drone signals and tactics change. Combat testing with Ukrainian forces has informed its design, and developers reportedly release updates about twice a month. The system is part of a wider Ukrainian effort to adapt radio-frequency tools to evolving drone threats.
