GOP Senate Nominees Urge End to Iran War, Breaking From Trump

Republican Senate nominees Ashley Hinson of Iowa and Mike Rogers of Michigan called for an immediate end to the U.S. war in Iran, arguing that the conflict is driving up fuel and grocery costs. Hinson proposed suspending gasoline taxes, pausing diesel exports, expanding ethanol use and creating relief for farmers and truckers, while Rogers backed temporary state and federal gas-tax suspensions and a diesel-export halt.
