Hebron Attack Wounds Five, Two Gunmen Killed
A shooting at the Judea Junction in the southern West Bank left five Israelis wounded, two critically, and ended with Israeli troops killing the two Palestinian gunmen after a prolonged exchange of fire. Israeli forces imposed closures, including a full closure of Hebron, and expanded operations in the area; footage and reports also described demolitions in Farsh al-Hawa that left buildings and structures in rubble. Palestinian official Hussein al-Sheikh condemned the demolitions and military measures as collective punishment and called for international action and accountability, while Hamas also denounced the campaign and called for intervention to halt the escalation.
