Minab school memorializes children killed as AP links strike to U.S. missile

A school in Minab, Iran, where officials say more than 100 children were killed in a February 28 strike during the U.S.-Israeli war against Iran, is being preserved as a war museum and memorial. The Shajareh Tayyebeh school remains heavily damaged, with collapsed ceilings, rubble-covered desks and photographs of the victims displayed alongside black memorial banners. An Associated Press investigation found evidence that at least one U.S. missile struck the school, but the Trump administration has not acknowledged responsibility or released the Pentagon’s findings. A nearby cemetery section has been dedicated to the victims, while families continue to seek accountability and authorities have not recovered the remains of three children.
