Trump claims the United States now has near-total control of the Strait of Hormuz and says Iran’s economy is collapsing, framing the six-month conflict as a relatively small war for the U.S. He threatens further strikes if needed and says Washington has ample ammunition while criticizing media as 'ABC Fake News.' He contrasts the Iran conflict with U.S. support to Ukraine under Biden, a claim that has been widely disputed. Critics, including JD Vance, question whether the episode is a true war and when it would end; a Nobel laureate psychiatrist warns that Trump’s mental health poses global danger given his access to nuclear weapons. He also suggests the Iranian public should rise up and says he would not commit to aiding dissidents, calling regime stability inevitable. The unfolding confrontation continues to strain weapon stocks, influence energy prices, and draw in rivals such as China and Russia.

Funny how Ukraine's aid needs a repayment plan but this "little war" doesn't get the same scrutiny on cost.
Calling it "little" while warning about weapon shortages is a contradiction he doesn't seem to notice or care about.
Little war" until we run out of missiles for a real one. Depleting stockpiles while eyeing China and Russia seems shortsighted.
