U.S. and Iran Hold Rare New York Talks

The United States and Iran held a rare three-hour meeting in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly to discuss ending their nearly seven-month war, according to President Donald Trump. Trump called the talks “very good” and “productive,” said another meeting was scheduled soon, and indicated that U.S. officials Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner participated, although it was unclear whether Trump attended.
