Crowley Leads Tiffany in Wisconsin Governor Race

Wisconsin voters are choosing between Democratic Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley and Republican U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany in a closely watched race for governor. The final Marquette poll cited in coverage showed Crowley leading 51%–44% among likely voters, while another report gave him a three-point advantage among registered voters; both campaigns said turnout would decide the outcome. More than 777,000 absentee ballots had been returned by Monday, and the candidates made final stops around the state urging supporters to vote. Tiffany emphasized tax relief, using the state’s roughly $3 billion surplus, reducing regulations and auditing government, while Crowley highlighted his leadership record, working families and health care. Crowley was endorsed by Gov. Tony Evers and prominent Democrats; Tiffany was backed by President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and leading state Republicans.
