Wembanyama Scores 36, Spurs Beat Jazz in Overtime

Victor Wembanyama continued his strong start to the season, scoring 36 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in San Antonio’s overtime win over Utah, which extended the Spurs’ winning streak to three games. The Spurs overcame an 11-point deficit and pulled away in overtime with a decisive 12-0 run, powered by their defense and Devin Vassell’s 21 points. Against Minnesota on Saturday, Wembanyama added to the spectacle with an off-the-glass dunk and had 21 points by the end of the first half as the Spurs trailed narrowly. The short-handed Timberwolves, coming off a win over the Clippers, were led in the first half by Ayo Dosunmu and Jaden McDaniels.
