Gilgeous-Alexander’s NBA-record 141-game streak ends vs. Nuggets
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s NBA-record streak of 141 consecutive regular-season games with at least 20 points ended Thursday, when he scored 17 in Oklahoma City’s 96-84 win over Denver. The Thunder star struggled early, finishing 6-of-19 from the field, and was pulled with the starters late in the fourth quarter, ending his chance to reach 20. His streak began in November 2024 and surpassed Wilt Chamberlain’s previous record of 126 games; Gilgeous-Alexander had last scored fewer than 20 in a regular-season game in October 2024. Oklahoma City remained unbeaten at 2-0.
