Jokić Reaches 200 Career Triple-Doubles

Nikola Jokić reached 200 career triple-doubles, moving within nine of Russell Westbrook’s NBA record of 209; he has recorded one in about a quarter of his games, a rate well above other leading players. In a 118-110 loss to Portland, Jokić had 26 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, narrowly missing a triple-double, as Denver fell to 3-3. A commentary piece says Jokić has looked less dominant over an extended stretch and warns Denver may struggle if he does not return to his usual level. Coach David Adelman cautioned against judging Jokić by a six-game sample.
