Cavaliers, Thunder Meet in Oklahoma City

Cleveland hosts Oklahoma City in a matchup of last season’s conference finalists, though the Thunder enter on a two-game skid and significantly shorthanded. Oklahoma City has struggled offensively, including from 3-point range, where it is shooting just 30.9% through six games; improved perimeter shooting is seen as one key to getting back on track. The Thunder are also without several important players, including Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams, putting added pressure on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the remaining rotation. Cleveland is coming off a 136-111 win over Milwaukee, powered by Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen, who combined for 52 points, and will look to exploit the weakened Thunder frontcourt.
