The Washington Wizards exercised team options on five young players: fourth-year options for 2024 draft picks Bub Carrington, Kyshawn George and Alex Sarr, and third-year options for Tre Johnson and Will Riley. The moves keep the five draft picks under team control for additional seasons and reflect Washington’s commitment to its developing roster. Sarr, the 2024 No. 2 pick, and George have emerged as key pieces, while Carrington has been a durable presence in the backcourt.
