Trail Blazers’ Vit Krejčí Suffers Lower-Leg Fracture
Portland Trail Blazers guard Vit Krejčí fractured his lower left leg or ankle late in the third quarter of Wednesday’s 132-119 win over Phoenix, after colliding with Miles Bridges while defending a fast break. Coach Micah Nori said the specific bone, treatment plan and recovery timetable remain unknown, but Krejčí is expected to miss an extended period. He left the arena on crutches in a protective boot. The injury adds to Portland’s absences, with Ja Morant and Shaedon Sharpe also sidelined, and Krejčí’s minutes are expected to be redistributed among available players.
